Forbes magazine has named Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman as the most powerful personality in the Arab world and 14th most powerful worldwide.

In the list of powerful Arabs, King Salman was followed by UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, who took the 39th spot on the global list. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi came in the third place in the Arab world and ranked 49th among the most powerful people in the world.

For the third year in a row, Russian President Vladimir Putin has been ranked as the most powerful person in the world, followed by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and US President Barack Obama.
