KSA witnessing massive progress, says US diplomat
The US Consul in Dhahran Joey Hood expressed his feeling of happiness for spending two years in the Kingdom and lauded the cooperation of Saudi people during his tenure of service in the Eastern Province.
He was honored by Saudi Cancer Society of the Eastern Province and SDEA as well as Organ Donation Organization in the presence of Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Turki, chairman of the organization and Hanan Al-Qhatani, vice chairman of the organization. The event was held to mark the completion of two years of Joey Hood’s presence in the Kingdom. Joey Hood said during his speech that the Kingdom is witnessing great progress in all fields.
He also praised the non-profit organizations and their role in serving society.
He spoke about the Saudi scholarship students studying in the United States.
Al-Turki appreciated the cooperation extended by the US consul and his belief in humanitarian goals provided by these non-profit organizations. He also thanked him for his continuing involvement in a lot of activities at such organizations.
He stressed that the consul had laid a solid foundation for relations between the consulate and these organizations, pointing out that there were various activities implemented in collaboration with the US Consulate in Dhahran.
They included providing a number of speakers, lecturers and participants from the United States during these activities.
