Madinah man wins Range Rover in SRMG contest
A Madinah man has won a luxury SR390,000 Range Rover in the subscription competition run by Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SRMG), the parent company of Arab News and a range of other top publications in the region.
An ecstatic Hammam Abduhameed Shehada received the prize on Monday night at Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors’ sprawling new showroom on King Abdullah Road in Riyadh, which has a wide array of luxury vehicles including the latest Jaguars. “I am happy beyond words for being declared the grand winner of a high-end Range Rover Sport car. I thank SRMG and Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors for this valuable prize,” said Shehada.
Shehada, who has been a regular subscriber of titles produced by Saudi Research and Publishing Company (SRPC), a subsidiary of SRMG, works for the Madinah Municipality as a general manager in the deputy mayor’s office. He said that his family was over moon about the prize. He intends to give the car to his 22-year-old son Ibrahim who is studying at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.
“He’s taking up business administration and is expected back in Saudi Arabia in three months. I know he’ll be excited about it,” he said. Also present at the awards ceremony were Wael A. Al-Fayez, SRPC deputy general manager, and Fahad Ali Alrowaitea, Nashr Company marketing manager.
Hadi Marshali, Naghi motors’ sales manager, and Hisham Bedaea Al-Bedaea, a Jaguar sales supervisor, were also present.
