Riyadh vows full support to El-Sissi
Saudi Arabia reiterated its support on Sunday for Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sissi on his inauguration day and hoped his presidency would open a new era of security and stability in the country.
Deputy Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Salman, who attended El-Sissi’s swearing-in ceremony in Cairo, said the Egyptians have written their destiny by their hands to confront challenges and build a better future.
“Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has said that it’s a decisive day that sets apart chaos and stability as no nation will be able to build its future and uphold its honor without stability,” said Prince Salman.
Addressing Arab royals, foreign dignitaries and Egyptian public figures at the presidential palace, El-Sissi said it was time “for our great people to obtain the fruits of their two revolutions.”
Many Egyptians view El-Sissi as the leader best suited to restore stability.
